According to the BBC website and several other TV guides, this week's episode will be Domestic not, as originally planned, And Then I Fell In Love. It has not been confirmed when And Then I Fell In Love has been rescheduled for.
I'm unsure of the Beeb's reasons behind switching the episodes, whether it has something to do with it being Easter weekend I don't know, but I do know that this will leave a lot of fans frustrated that they have to wait even longer for the Harry/Nikki-based episode that they're craving.
NO!!!!!!!!!!!!! This isn't fair :( the bbc better have a bloody good reason why they're not showing it this weekend....and if it's cause it might 'disturb' some viewers due to the content then that's not a good enough reason cause you have the option of NOT watching it. :( I am so annoyed by this news....and will it not put everything out of sync? We're quite clearly not getting harry and nikki together this series if they can put that ep on first cause it would be obvious in later eps :( this has ruined my weekend. I'm sure the beeb will be getting lots of emails about this.

DeleteWell i suppose it could be an anti climax to create a climax. They schedule ATIFIL for this week and give us lots of premise that something's going to happen....then they change the ep so that we all get hugely disappointed and believe that there is no way anything's going to happen. Then in a twist of fate there is lots of harry/nikkiness in Domestic. But i seriously doubt it. The beeb are not that nice. They owe it to us to give us that ep this week. They made us wait 3 extra months for the series to start after all. :( Bet emilia is annoyed too. She sounded so excited about it all.

I now definitely prefer Chandler and Monica. Americans understand better what people want, I guess. And well prepared to give it ... cannot believe BBC wouldn't know

DeleteI have a feeling that the episode content of the second episode upset some people and the BBC were forced to pull it out , either altogether or for it to be re-edited or censored. There is no other plausible explanation for it suddenly disappearing , especially after showing the promos.
ReplyDeleteIve been looking around on twitter, apparently ATIFIL will air NEXT weekend, so at least we still get to see the episode. Also, Silent Witness has been building the Harry/Nikki relationship for years so maybe this is just another stepping stone to them getting together at the end of this series, seeing as there wasn't much H/N stuff in last weeks episode it would be a bit weird to have them suddenly getting together in one episode.
ReplyDeleteDomestic's plotline should see Harry and Nikki being close, the synopsis says Harry is 'disturbed' by the case, because he and nikki attended a christening there. So they obviously support/ comfort each other etc. The twitter account I saw the ATIFIL news was @pinkswallowsun

After 7 years I can't believe she hasn't gone 'oh well f*ck it, I'm so over you...lets marry another dude' by now. Any sane woman wouldn't wanna be jurked around for 7 years.... sure he's nice and flirty to her but ya turn around and he's dating someone else and saying the same thing to her or worse....at some point ya gotta think the guy doesn't mean it. Shy....scared...has issues...all good and well, but no real woman would take this for 7 years.:-) And I get it, the writters think they will get borring and break them up. NONSENSE, break them up and we're not watching anymore... give us nothing and we're not watching anymore....it will be up to the writters to keep it interesting.But no dating this season please....have them be like before his ex turned up dead, next season....no dating but close to it.Ya can stretch it out over seasons, but give us a little hope please.
DeleteShe's had dates, remember the paramedic she dated, I think It was season 12. I actually think the writers could easily get them together and maintain the tension and banter etc, they are so natural with each other that I don't think it would drastically change the way they interact with each other.

BUT they get other stuff for that, like 2 working people who love their jobs... how will they handle having a kid? Being in a relationship and working together, how will that go...with the good parts and the bad parts of that. The writters can keep it from getting borring. There'd been such a build up with hints and photo teasing us it's cruel!! If you want to voice your greivances contact points of view... if enough people complain maybe they'll see sense. I agree 7 years is starting to get daft with only 1 half joking smoooch to show for it. All I ask is that he stops dating other women and that now and then, they go out together. As life is, isn't it. (been there done that.. I deeply fell in love with a colleague ... no way that could have been avoid. And even that real life, painful, threatening situation took only 3 years to be untied). This is so far beyond reality... I don't get it anymore. WHAT is the big deal...
DeleteGuys! We are going to see 'And Then I Fell In Love', just later than planned. The storyline is very similar to the Rochdale Trial, a current child-grooming case in Britain. Once the media storm surrounding it dies down a bit, we should see ATIFIL, most likely when 'Domestic' should have aired (22nd and 23rd).
ReplyDeleteAs for Harry and Nikki ... Did we really expect them to 'get together' in that episode, that early on into the series? All of the cast interviews from a couple of weeks ago suggest that that topic is still under debate in the writing room!
There will still be all the glorious sexual tension in ATIFIL, no matter when it airs. Just like there is in every episode between Harry and Nikki.
In the meantime, let's just enjoy 'Domestic'. I've been told it's an incredibly strong episode, and is very Harry-centric. The wait for ATIFIL (and after all, it is only two weeks) will make the episode seem all the more worth it when we do see it.

That NH haven't gotten together or anywhere near it, I don't mind.I love there platonic childlike relationship. It might not be common, but with their childhoods it's kinda realistic...it's a truely pure love they share. BUT it's not realistic that a woman would still be pinning for a guy that hasn't shown any interest for 7 years. Sure there have been little signs, but any selfrespecting woman in her late 30s wouldn't want to waste her time like that.
Deleteand I hate myself having spoiled a whole holiday week by nothing else then watching stupid videos and all episodes that I hadn't seen so far (at least 12 of them, days and days and days). I almost lost my own life. Never thought I'd ever say that but I'm really pleased I can go back to work tomorrow, to the real world of facts and figures, with no wifi nor mobile data available... regaining my own life that is -in fact- a whole more happier than H+N's is. I cannot believe what all this did to me... not happy :-( not normal:-(
ReplyDeleteYeah my life is a whole lot more sane than Nikki/Harry's is. The writters think the plot will get borring when they hock up, but this show needs a little reality. Let them try and make reality a nice thing to watch, that can't be to hard now can it. And it will give more suspence when they actually have something to lose. They just need to fix the characters...or realise who they were.
